I am sure a large number of people pay various investment fees, particulary if you invest in mutual funds. Edward Jones recently disclosed some information on the companies they usually work with. I found this rather disturbing. I knew that they were paid, obviously, but not to this extent, particularly since Edward Jones charges a fee to the clients as well!
No wonder Edward Jones was strongly pushing for privatization of Social Security!
